Ahh, Wednesday...a day of infamy and desperation, a day which shall go down in history forever. (Actually, it won't. 'Infamy and desperation' just sounds vaguer and more sinister than 'we had a blast'. XD)
Day three...let's see, Tuesday? Yeah, Tuesday. :D We started off with working in Julia's mother's yard--all in all we raked and bagged leaves, planted flowers, put in a bird-bath/flower garden, mulched, and watered. With five of us working it took something around five hours...I don't know about the others, but I rather enjoyed it. And we were fed with the most AMAZING pizza from Dominoe's, so all was well. :D
(Seriously, this pizza was the best I think I'd ever had. The crust had SOMETHING in it that was...it was...gah. It was amazing.) I wish I wa-a-as Homeward bound Oh wait. I am today...or at least in a few hours. XD Also guess what? I has pictures today!! Here's some random pictures to give an idea of the many things we've done this previous week. Driven through the Ozark mountains... Practiced music with the Stones... Gone wading in a random creek... Played with goats... (SO CUTE!!!) Went thrifting... (no, I didn't buy the hat, but I DID get a Les Mis poster. Eee squee.) Brought a goat in the house... Did a photo shoot... (Thanks for the awesome camera weilding, Olivia!) Visited a bookstore...mwahahaha... (I seriously spent about $200 on books. It's a dangerous hobby, being a book-collector... XD) Went to the beach... (there were Portugese man-o-war on the beach and riptides. It was awesome. XD) Attended a church picnic... (Yes, that IS a log toss in the second picture) And there are SO many things to show and talk about...I'll have to upload pictures according to each day. None of these are tweaked, but when I get home I can start the tweaking and upload pictures with some sense of consistency/coherency. Oy.
Also? I'm flying alone for the first time today. And I'm not that nervous, really...not like when I flew for the first time. My only concern is that layover in North Carolina. *bites nails* Also? I was interviewed yesterday by Waunita, and I'm just waiting for their reply. Eee squee. :D Also? I miss many things (I hear Javert has been mopey and the horses are shedding like crazy) about home, but one certain person in particular...three guesses as to who it is, and the first two don't count. XD I'll be glad to be home. Your hostess, The Fox I don't know when I'll be back again
Leavin' on a jet plane... Erm...anyway. Got a little carried away there. Actually, I'm leaving via minivan, and coming HOME on a jet plane. But that's beside the point. Here it is, a lovely day outside, and I'm stuck here in class. *headdesk* I have class until almost 3, filling in for Will at the gym at 3:30 (although considering all the things that I need to do schoolwise before I leave tomorrow I may have to get out of that), and show Mike what to do for taking care of the animals while we're gone over the weekend. Oh yes, and finish packing. *falls over* The insanity is taking over my brain, people--I've had all these bizarre dreams about meeting people down in Florida (they aren't BAD dreams, just odd). Flying doesn't bother me anymore, and I'm really very excited about all these new developments--that is, the whole traveling 'alone' thing. It's just...exciting, and rushed. :D All I have to say at this point is, I will take lots of pictures and I have a list of people who I want to send postcards to (I've never sent postcards while on vacation before--that will have to be remedied) and I'm going to miss you know who. A lot. I foresee much texting over this trip... XD (Which reminds me, I need to buy minutes for my phone before I go...) So, while I will probably have access to a computer I can't guarantee that I will have any 'pithy' or media-rich updates over the next ten days. With that in mind, this is my general 'adieu'.
