(Seriously, this pizza was the best I think I'd ever had. The crust had SOMETHING in it that was...it was...gah. It was amazing.)
So after working in the yard we made our way back home, and I seem to recall watching 'The Lion King'. But I'll have to check back on that.
No, wait...we started 'Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark'. We practically had to fight to watch that movie, too...it seemed that every five minutes the phone would ring/chores needed done/etc etc etc. We still had to quit halfway through because we were going to play frisbee in the evening...
A note about frisbee: for a non-athletic-follower like me (I'm fit, I just don't express it in organized sports) having frisbee described as a cross between soccer and football was NOT helpful in the least. XD I remember running back and forth a lot...I don't think the frisbee ever got near me. Anyway, when Julia showed up I hitched a ride back home with her and helped set up for the 'party' that was going to happen later (i.e. inviting people over for a bonfire and strawberries and shortcake).
I helped build the fire. Eee. :D
After refreshments and sitting in bonfire smoke several people trooped inside and 'assisted' us in finishing 'Indiana Jones' and watching 'The Emperor's New Groove'.
(A note about that last movie: I LOVE IT. Love it, love it, love it. I still quote that thing--it's so darned hilarious. :D)
Anyway, with the watching of two movies we didn't get to bed until after 1...this became a pretty solid trend for the entire week. I think I'm still recovering... XD
(Just kidding, ya'll. All the brain-meltage I blame on school and the staring at a computer screen that goes along with it. *falls over*)
Anyway! Thus ends Day 3 of the Floridian Saga--tune in tomorrow for day 4!!
Your hostess,
The Fox
