Our definition of 'nice' is rather relative...in this case it meant 'the temperature was above freezing and the sun was out'. XD
After being stuck inside for weeks due to snow and bitter Arctic temps it was very nice to get out and walk SOMEWHERE. I also got to talk to Mr. G for half of the walk via the phone. It vass nice. ^-^
Though next time I'll wear tennis shoes instead of cowboy boots. The latter give horrible blisters over the course of 3 1/2 miles. *shudder*
It seems like lately I've been getting an insane amount of spring fever...I know it's only natural, but that doesn't reassure the part of my mind that's ready to break out the shorts and t-shirts and run around barefoot like a crazy person.
Also: in 6 weeks time I'm going to be in Florida with my man, walking on the beach and driving all over the state and burning/tanning in the hot sun. My brain is tired of the dulling effect of brown frozen fields and empty passenger seats. >.<
It doesn't help that for the last two nights I've been dreaming about Mr. G. *sighs in aggravation/wistfulness*
He vass not happeh. At all.
I did have a Twix. But chocolate milk makes me sleeeeeep. XD
By this point my foot was absolutely dying (if it had been warm enough I would have walked barefoot for the last four blocks home) and it was a painful hobble to get back home. But otherwise it was a very good walk and helped for the mental recharging after such a long winter.
Then I went home and crashed in a chair because I could hardly walk and was pooped from such a strenuous jaunt. The end. XD
Your wimpy hostess,
