It's be absolutely bitter, BITTER cold lately. What with that blizzard last week (we got something between 15 and 20 inches of snow, but it's hard to tell exactly how much because the wind blew and drifted it) and the teens/negative temps most of this week I've been staying inside quite a bit. And even while wearing two shirts and a jacket all the time I'm still chilled.
I've been fitfully productive, making things in spurts and being slothfully idle the rest of the time (been very sleepy lately, probably from the lack of warmth and sunlight). So in the interim between when the boys left and now I've started (not finished :/) four Weeping Angel plushies based off of these creatures in Doctor Who, made a couple of freakin' awesome TARDIS t-shirts (pictures to follow), and painted a couple of also freakin' awesome Les Miserables t-shirts with some lines from 'Red and Black' on them (pictures to also follow).
The Weeping Angels will look something like this:
Next week I'm going to see Les Mis in Chicago. Excuse me for a moment.
*gasp wheeze pant*
FINALLY. I FINALLY GET TO SEE IT ON STAGE. THIS IS LIKE MY FREAKING LIFE GOAL FOR MUSICALS GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Ahem. Anyway. So I found out a few months ago that my brother's theater group at school were going to see Les Miserables in Chicago. After much wheedling and inquiring on my part he managed to make me a 'chaperon' for the group. And so, after handing over my hard-earned monies and sitting on the edge of my seat, IT'S FINALLY HERE.
The only thing that perturbs me is the fact that I have no idea who is playing who. So I'm worried that there might be weak portrayals...BUT HEY. It's Les Mis. Hence, I'm going to enjoy it for all it's worth.
I'm going to wear one of the 'Red and Black' shirts to the snow...I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. Gah. Mom thinks I should make more and try to sell them because they're so cool-looking. XD I only have two shirts though, and they're both smalls. So...I dunno. I'll figure something out.
Well, peeps, it's 11:40 here, so I'm going to sign off. This is not a complete overview of what's going on in my life at ALL, but it's something. Enjoy...
