Yay, more art. I've been drawing horses instead of working on homework. *rolls eyes* Weirdly enough the format (or arrangement, whatever you want to call it) for my pages in Weebly has changed. I don't know why or how. So, my 'Musicals', 'Writing', 'Journal', 'About Me', and 'Links' pages are all located under 'More...' for now. I'll see if I can do anything with it.

Two more sketches for your perusal...I've put 'em in the 'Doodle-art' sections. And! Gasp les gasp les gasp the sequel--our Footloose DVD came in! Squee! So we finally get to see how we were! *is excited beyond belief* After we take a look at it I'll start uploading it on Youtube. ^,^
The photography section is coming aliiiiive...I've always like snapping pictures, but I haven't made a concentrated effort to do so until recently. I have nothing else to say--oh wait, yes I do. I went to my first college classes today. I'm going to really like Graphic Design--we're told to draw in class!! I can hardly believe that it's for real! *squee* Quark Express is a bit more boring...oh, and I got my books today. There were no fewer than 15 people in front of me and it took 45 minutes for me to get my books. *headdesk* It didn't help that the lady behind the desk insisted on talking nonstop which slowed her down. Oy. And now I really don't have anything to say, so I shall say 'adieu'.
As my title says, my photography section is up! I don't have very many pictures yet, but go ahead and check out what I've got.
I did something fantastic yesterday: I rode Violet for the first time since my concussion, which, ironically, happened three months ago today. During those three months I've been doing lots and lots of groundwork and round-pen work with Violet, and got all the way up to putting my foot in the stirrup but never actually getting on. So yesterday, I caught Violet, did RP work, put the saddle on, did more RP, put the bridle on, did more RP...and then asked Mom to come over and hold her for me. Even with Mom there I couldn't seem to screw up the courage to swing up into the saddle, so after I dithered around for a while Mom asked if she could get on instead. By that point I was mad at myself (but still scared to death to get on) so I was getting kind of teary...so Mom went ahead and got on. The moment Mom sat down Violet started yawning. *rolls eyes* She yawned the whole time we walked around the RP, and after a couple of passes I finally decided that I was being silly and, with a smart slap to my fear I got on. I was still apprehensive, so Mom led Violet around for me until I kind of got my bearings. Then, once I was all right with just walking around I worked on hips-over and walking forward (for the uninformed: hips-over is just where you pull the horse's head to the side and hold it there until they step over with the hind legs. It's very effective for teaching a horse to listen to the bridle, stop, steer, etc). After riding Colletta so much, Violet seems very skinny and the English saddle seems very small and unsafe compared to a Western. There's nothing to hold on to! It just feels weird! Oy. BUT, this is a pretty big step to not being afraid to ride Violet, so I am really happy that I finally rode Violet and without any major fuss from either of us. FINALLY!! I have a drawing with which to update my site--aren't you proud of me?? :D And now, without any further ado, here 'tis. Unfortunately my website isn't letting me put a link to the full-sized picture in it here, so just go to my artwork gallery to see the full-sized pic.
There has been an INSANE amount of rain today. We've had four inches over the week, and around two more inches today. Quite frankly, I am sick and tired of rain. *sigh* Enough about the weather! Let's see...I mucked out the barn today. Fascinating, yes? And it was only partially mud (this was prior to the 'scattered showers' aka 'downpour' in the afternoon). Yay. I have nothing else to da I was just directed to a hilarious blog yesterday, so with no further ado here 'tis:
http://thepioneerwoman.com/ She reminds me of a friend of mine who shall remain nameless...suffice to say that the friend in question has much of the same mental proccesses and she's just hilarious. Period. I start college classes on Monday!! AAAAAHHH!! *runs around like a crazy person* Graphic design and that stinkin' keyboarding class...boo. I hope to goodness that I learn how the heck to use Photoshop because I'm going to ask for it for my birthday. Being poor and with truck payments I can do that. XD Have I mentioned lately that I hate rain? Nothing against the occasional sprinkle or shower, but 3-4 inches in the last twenty-four hours is a bit much. I have an outdoor life too!! I have a barn to muck out and horses to ride and an herb garden to weed!! I don't need all this extra moisture floating around! Impromtu lakes are not appreciated in swamp-like areas!! *pant pant* Okay, I think I'm better now. Oy. Picture-time! Javert gets some camera time again! Considering that he tries to hide whenever we get the camera out this is pretty good. :D http://picasaweb.google.com/molly.nolden/Javvie2?authkey=Gv1sRgCPy-jtKbw8XvMw&feat=directlink Speaking of Javert, I am very happy with him: the last few times I've taken him outside around to the invisible fence he hasn't tried to run through it. Better yet, he's stopping when he hears the beep and turning away, which is what he's SUPPOSED to do. *beams* He's a goo' boy...yesh he ish!! XD ETA: New category today!! I now have a photographs section for the good/interesting/not good/uninteresting pictures I may take in the future. Well. I have nothing in the way of art to update, but that does not by any means mean that I have been slacking in the art department. Rather, I've spent the last week and a half forming a revamped comic version of Horsemasters. The only thing that stays the same is the characters' names; the place, circumstances, everything else is changed. When not cleaning at the gym I spend every spare moment working on character sheets, thumbnails, and actual comic pages. Nothing as of this point is scripted yet...maybe I'll change that in the future. Each night I've been drawing 1 1/2 - 2 pages of thumbnails (tonight I did three, yay) and basically getting a feel for the characters. If/when I get pages drawn I MAY start uploading them here. It depends on if I break out of my rut of starting and not finishing projects. As of this point, I am really enjoying the whole process of drawing and writing by the seat of my pants.
In other news...I don't think there IS any other news. Heh. Life is always busy but with not much to talk about, meh. I started working evenings at the gym, and the other night during a lull I drew this. She's an albino Celestial from the Temeraire series--she's an antagonist, of sorts, but she's kind of pitiful too...I dunno. Anyway, here she is and enjoy.
