Doodle-art
Whereas my artwork section is to showcase my better artwork, I decided that I needed a place to put my doodles, sketches, and silly stuff. Really, I have much more in the way of that than my 'good' artwork...but it's fun, so I don't regret that little fact.
Shy
This one I could see on a t-shirt or something....maybe someday I can try that.
Pegasus-Violet
Whipped out in about an hour using a Bic pen and a picture of Violet for reference. More of a 'warming up' exercise than for any real artistic development...but I do love drawing with Bic pens.
Weight Difference
The Joy of Riding
Sketched last night and inked using my Wacom this morning. I WILL get used to that thing, gosh-darnit!
The Pajama Game
The random dancing was during a song that had a very Latin beat, so we were doing a fake tango backstage. It was hilarious. XD And I was asked to take pictures, so I was all OVER the place for that...random people hugged me...I ate many things...there were many, many tears backstage...and people wouldn't stop touching my brother Will. The whole experience was hysterical and funny and wonderful...
Centauress
Drawn on regular sketchbook paper, painted in watercolor.
Charles, My Inner Editor
Everyone, this is Charles. He introduced himself to me officially this afternoon, and I had to draw him in order to get a visual picture before my eyes. He reminds me of a mixture of Combeferre and Kyouya from Ouran...yeah. In other words he's a relatively laid-back nit-picker. Whee. XD And for some reason he looks like a college student...I'm not exactly sure why.

~I drew Javert and labeled him as 'post Seine dunk'
~The word 'dunk' makes me think of doughnuts
~Javert + dunk = JAVERT DOUGHNUT!!
...yeah. I AM insane, how could you ever tell? XD And the beast fighting against his bridle is a tauntaun. I think. I haven't seen Star Wars in AGES, but I wanted to draw a tauntaun.
"Practice?"
Enter class, Thursday. I had worked ahead and while waiting for the others to catch up I started doodling. The story that I hadn't thought about for ages cropped up and I started doodling. So...that's it. And this is the origin page for the 'Javert doughnut' too...XD

Horse!Javert
I love drawing Javert in this form--it's just terribly fun. Anyway, I drew most of these this morning and since I have a habit of drawing horse!Javert facing to the left, I tried some different angles. Ideally he's supposed to be kind of like a Friesian, but he never comes out as thick as a Friesian normally is. *shrugs*
Javert headshots
I was tired of writing yesterday on NaNoWriMo and just wanted to draw Javert. So I did. The horse-ears thing is a throwback to a currently unfinished fanfic that has Javert turn into a centaur.
Petit Cosette
Just as it says--a doodle of little Cosette looking mad and defiant, hastily inked. I was bored, what can I say?
Javert-headshots
A slightly different version of Javert than I usually draw. Note: slightly. I really like the headshot at the bottom...
Temeraire
A sketch of Temeraire. I am seriously obsessed with that series--I'm drawing fanart, see, and recently I've been stricken with the urge to write fanfiction. MUST...RESIST...
Dragon stuff
More Temeraire, yay. The dragon on the right is a drawing from the cover of the latest Temeraire book. The dragon on the lower left was a pathetic attempt to draw Arkady, a feral Turkish dragon, but it was heavily influenced by the dragon on the right. The head-and-shoulders drawing is an attempt to draw Javert using shapes instead of lines for the initial sketch. I smoothed out quite a bit..
Dandy-sketch
A doodle/sketch/thingy that was heavily influenced by Historyknight.
Javert Bookmark
I was bored. The computor was open. Paint was up. What else can I say? It happens to be my absolute favorite line in the Brick concerning Javert. That, and the 'damn hot stoves' one. Feel free to use it if your little heart desires so.
Highwaycentaur
Inspired by a website that sells fantasy/medieval type clothing. I started drawing a highwayman and thought he would look really cool as a centaur...yeah. I'm going to try to incorporate that into my NaNoWriMo story. Somehow. Maybe.
Sad Javert
Inspired by an amazing writer. She wrote a book for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) that involved a character based off of Javert named Alain Dupard. And he drinks quite a bit. The little chibi-thing is supposed to a really freaky me glomping him out of existence. But he had it coming.
Javert, FMA version
Pencil-and-ink drawing of Javert modeling a military from FMA. Uber-cool costumes, definately drool-worthy. I'm losing my touch for colored pencils--must work with them more.
Javert-Centaur Glomp
This is probably the most fun picture I've done recently. Okay, to explain: I really, really love centaurs. I mean seriously. I'd love to be one for a week or something, just to see what it was like. And I really love the idea of Javert as a centaur. He's fantastic just as a police inspector, add a horse's body and he crosses over into the 'awesome' realm. And, being a Javert-fan, I've had many conversations with people that involve character-glomping; Javert inevitably gets glomped. So...as I was saying, this was a fun piece for my own amusement. Nothing more, nothing less.
Les Mis Horses
Remember that centaur kick I had been on? Well, I had the same with horses, and, inevitably, I started drawing Les Mis characters as horses...perhaps I'm just starved for inspiration, but it worked.
People
Yay, some normal people now! A lot of my artwork is saturated with Les Mis or Phantom of the Opera references...as you can probably tell...
The Fox and the Wolf
*giggles like a loony* Okay, a girl who does a lot of Les Mis stuff on another site gave me inspiration for this one. My username for several sites is 'Bramblefox', and she calls me 'Fox'. Well...there was this reference with 'the Fox and the Wolf' which included me (as the Fox) facing off Javert (as the Wolf). He's described as a wolf in the books...so anyway. I did another doodle with size reference but it came out really, really small.
