Horse update

I actually took these a couple of months ago, but no one's changes much since then. I thought it was a really good collections of them all.

I'm getting more and more excited about NaNoWriMo--too bad I have to wait until November for it to start. *sighs* But one of my characters is coming along quite well--he's a centaur (my story centers around centaurs...or did I mention that?) who seems to be quite an interesting character. To give you a hint, he's rather irritating to people around him (being an outcast, sort of), and has a pet ferret named Oswald. Don't ask. I'm working on a picture of him right now, but it's in the rough stages.

On other news, I'm thoroughly obsessed with Temeraire. What? You've never heard of it? Perish the thought! Go read it. Now. Author is Naomi Novik. Premisis is dragons in the Napoleonic Wars (dragonriding!Napoleon is awesome, btw), first book is 'His Majesty's Dragon'. It's gotten me obsessed with dragons all over again. And if you think nothing stands up to Eragon, think again. This book trounces it thoroughly by way of originality and fantastic characters. I need to draw a picture of Temeraire...someday...after my centaurs, of course.
