The past two days...I don't know how to describe them. Fantastic...amazing...memorable... giddy...adjectives simply fail me. I have no words to describe how purely amazing this time has been.
My oldest brother, Isaac, got married on Friday the 5th to a gorgeous young lady named Lydiana. I've been keeping in contact with her brothers and several other people I know from this area for quite a while, but for the past few weeks I have been sending messages back and forth in earnest with them getting excited and spazzing over the fact that 'ZOMIGOSH, only 5 days, 13 hours and 22 minutes until we see each other!!!'
(Yes, we were counting down the minutes. It was CRAZY.)
And now our time has gone by SO quickly and is but a memory now...memory upon memory of setting up the decorations, and taking hundreds of pictures of each moment, and dancing our feet off, and going to Barberville, and jamming with Will and Obi and Gabi, and playing music (SO MUCH MUSIC...*falls over*), and spazzing with everyone, and...and...GAH. There's too much to remember... D:
All I can say is that I LOVE my new in-laws (actually, Will and I have been referring to Gabi and Obi as our new brothers. It's awesome). We have totally hit it off in SO many ways, tons of hugs have been traded and spent, SO much music has been played, so much giddiness and glee has been had (my face was hurting TERRIBLY on Friday night)...I simply can't describe how wonderful it all has been. And now we need to have the Acevedos up for a Christmas so they can see snow...'cause they've never seen it before... :P
OKAY. I'm rambling now. Good night, everyone...see ya'll back in Illinois, where they don't have contra dancing and all the Northerners are pointedly unfriendly and where my new siblings are hours and states and thousands of miles away... D:
