Yay, more art! I am on a roll, baby!! So here are a couple o' pics for your scrutiny:
This is inspired by Les Miserables: The Game of the Book. Awesome game--go check it out. But anyway, when it comes time for Javert to jump off into the river he raises his hands to heaven (in the game) and says "God in Heaven, I RESIGN." This is minorly based off of that image (see the image below).
Isn't that SAD??? And you have to suggest for him to jump! I was on the verge of tears while playing! *cries*
Ahem. I'm all right now. The other picture is one I drew today in art class--I haven't drawn with charcoal for nearly a year, so I whipped the ol' pencils out and did this.
This took about an hour--actually, more like 45 minutes because my lesson lasts an hour and I took a little while to get everything out. This was totally out of my head with no reference--I'm actually quite proud of it. *glee*
Compare, if you will, my art here to a picture I drew with charcoal one year ago today:
There's almost no corrolation! Is that nuts or what??
Now for a different topic: I have been asked about my writing of the sequel to my Les Mis story, and I apologize profusely for not updating it. My schedule has filled up to practically no free time--for the past two days I've been going from 7 in the morning to nearly 7 at night. I will try to write at least 500 words a day--that's an easy goal for me--and if I don't post in a week I want you guys to bug me, okay? I have a hard time sticking with things unless I have some sort of incentive, so be my incentive! I will be eternally grateful to you if you do!
