We came back home around 7:45, and by 8 I was out raking grass (a) to feed the horses and (b) to prevent the non-cut grass from dying from being smothered. I changed my sweat-soaked shirt after coming in, and ate breakfast.
At 9 Will and I left to help move stuff from the rehearsal room to the theater--that only took about 45 minutes, due to nearly the whole cast showing up with various trucks. After moving we (me, Will, and about 7 other people) walked up and down Main Street for 1 1/2 hours putting up flyers. It took us so long (a) because we had to walk about 9 blocks, and (b) because the other kids had a tendency to lag and take their sweet old time. Sigh.
Sometime around 1 we came home and helped spread a dump-truck load of crushed lime--not all by hand, fortunately; we had a guy come out with a tractor/spreader combo and it took him maybe half an hour to spread it all. There was a little spreading by hand, but not NEAR as much as we would have had to spread without the tractor.
And now it's 3:00, I stink and feel icky and sweaty, but I'm too tired to get a shower and all I want to do is flop on the couch and sleep. -_-;
