Much as I hate to admit it, fall is in the air.
All right, let me take that back. I like fall. Correction: I LOVE fall. I love the changing colors, the ability to wear layers and take my jackets and sweater-coat out of their summer hibernation, the cool air...everything. I truly love fall.
The thing I don't like about it is that it means that another year is drawing to a close, and this summer has FLOWN by. It's crazy. And every time I think that things will slow down, they never do.
(I need to stop saying things will slow down, because 99% of the time they actually increase in intensity. Remind me to knock on wood in the future.)
But as for these signs...there's a red maple on Main Street that I drive past every time I go to the gym or school. Much to my surprise it's already turning red/orange in patches and dropping leaves.
(Fortunately had my camera with me--even now, when I'm nigh obsessed with taking pictures, I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten my camera and missed a good photo opportunity)
Leaving you with that thought,
Your hostess,
The Fox
