...what, are you expecting an explanation? Oh. Well, okay.
With today being ever so slightly warmer than the previous few weeks, I snatched the opportunity to go and 'clean out the barn'. By that I mean that I took a shovel and a wheelbarrow and started slogging away at the manure pile that currently occupies the barn. I wish I had taken pictures...it was quite a sight. Maybe tomorrow, yes? And now, in lieu of pictures, you'll have to use your imaginations! What fun!
Imagine this area of the barn as seen below.
Before you accuse me of being a neglectful horse owner, remember that it has been freezing for weeks, and most of the stuff is still hard as a rock. But I did manage to haul out approximately 2.5 million loads, or 1/4 of the mess. Fun, yes?
...okay, I'm no good about this 'expounding without a picture' thing. I'll just have to go out and take pictures the next time I get around to mucking out the barn. (Considering my schedule, that'll probably end up happening sometime next year. Ugh.) Until then, consider yourselves fortunate that you don't have to look at manure today...mwahahaha...
So that's why my hands were shaking earlier: between lifting steaming shovelfuls of offal and pushing barrows of said offal through snow my arms are shot. Oh, and I have to go do karate tonight. Fun. I'm going to go take a much-needed nap and listen to Isaac rant about politics...yay...
