Yesterday I sent a picture via email to an actor named Vic Mignogna...call me nuts for doing so, but I got a reply yesterday evening thanking me for it, so everything worked out. For the uninformed, Vic Mignogna is a voice actor from Texas who does quite a bit of anime work. So here's the pic:
I'm actually very proud of how this turned out. The fellow in the red coat is Edward Elric, and the guy with wings is Dark Mousy. Ed hates being called short, Dark likes to tease people. So...this happened. Anyway, it was fun and I'm glad I sent it to Vic. Go check out his website: www.vicsworld.net He's a musician and composes all kinds of music, from Christian to rock. I've been listening to his reading of the Gospel of John (found it on his fan website in the navigation: www.risemboolrangers.com ), and it's fantastic.
ATTENTION! The 'herbs' category is now a crafting category as well! I made a couple of scarves for Mom and myself and have sold one so far. See le pic below:
So the picture quality stinks, but you get the idea. I have all these scraps of yarn that aren't enough to make one single scarf out of each, so I crocheted the scraps into circles and lashed them together. They are lots of fun, but rather time-consuming (first one took about 20-25 hours, my latest one might take about 12-15 hours).
Will and I got parts in My Fair Lady after all--we're only bit parts, but at least we got it. I am a flower girl and in the chorus; Will is a footman (still trying to figure out where that part is), in the main chorus, and in the 'Cockney Chorus' during 'Loverly'. First rehearsal is next Saturday...I can hardly wait!
