I downloaded 'The Matchmaker' off of iTunes today. *squee* I'm so excited! I watched about three minutes of the beginning and it looks like a lot of fun. It's a romantic comedy, which I hadn't realized until I downloaded it...but it's a romantic comedy '50s style! And it's got Anthony Perkins, so there.
...I'm reading Will's doodles on the calender on the desk here (working at the gym), and he's written down the first verse to 'Strawberry Fields Forever'. I think he's been listening to the Beatles a wee bit too much.
I finished another drawing here at the gym; I'll have to scan it and post it later tonight (or tomorrow, since I want to watch my movie tonight). It's another one of those 'two horses fighting' picture, but I think this one came out a bit more 'dynamic' than the first one.
What else...oh, I almost came in late to the gym today. I took Colletta for a ride (we went by the bank and around town) and we were way-laid by some cows. Just looking--it's not like we were attacked or something (that brings a very odd image to mind, being attacked by cows). So anyway, we walked up the driveway about five minutes before I was supposed to be at the gym. Needless to say, I scurried. A lot.
I'm feeling rather incoherent at the moment--my mind is skipping from one thing to another with no rhyme or reason. Did you know that there's four 'Psycho' movies?? And they all star Anthony Perkins. I read the summaries, and they get steadily worse the farther they go...I think ol' Tony was hard-up for work, in my humble opinion. But that's just me. I have no intentions of seeing the sequels...they degenerate into cheap rip-offs that try to one-up each other in the blood-and-gore section. *sigh* But I'm still on the look-out for more Tony Perkins movies--the ones in his early career look promising, albeit corny in places. I'll take corny over gory any day, though. ("Are you a mod or a rocker?" "No, I'm a mocker.") (Sorry, just had to get that out.)
I have officially started knitting a pair of socks. Eeee. The yarn I'm using is this multicolored fine-weight stuff with elastic in it, so it's very stretchy. The pattern is for tube socks, but Mom is going to show me how to do a heel. Hopefully. *crosses fingers* I really ought to be working on that instead of rambling on here...oh well.
Tomorrow, as I'm sure you all are aware, is my 18th birthday. Yikes. I'm gonna be OLD, people! Well, not 'old', per se, but I'll be expected to be more mature...or something...
Speaking of maturity, most people think that I am younger than Will. I'm almost two years older than him. WHY?? Why do they not see it?? *sob*
Ahem. *composes self* Right. NaNoWriMo is in 11 days. AAAAUUUGGHHH!!! I'm only to 'Mama Says' in Footloose! *kicks self into gear* I WILL get it finished! I must! *strikes heroic pose*But...my thumb drive doesn't work here at the gym. Phooey. So I shall work on my socks instead. When I come back with the picture, I hope to have an update so au revoir.
