Cynical, perhaps, but considering that the past day has seen rain in immense quantities that has melted our snow, I think that I'm entitled.
But seriously...rain on Christmas eve? Really?? And we had almost two inches of snow before this travesty of liquid fell from the sky. Sigh. I'm so depressed about it that I didn't even want to take any pictures of it. Mud and wet dead grass isn't exactly aesthetically pleasing.
...
Okay, depression over!! XD So, today is Christmas Eve. I haven't gotten presents for everyone, the presents I have aren't wrapped, and I slept in until 8:30. Whee. I love procrastination, don't you?
...don't answer that.
Right, on to other things...I've been drawing dragons again. Whee.
Oh! Ever heard of a website called http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage? As far as I can tell, it's a site where you can look up anything in...well, anything, and find out how it ties into culture or...okay, I officially stink at writing summaries. Just click on it, and look up something! I spent far too much time yesterday looking up things like Les Miserables and Gone with the Wind. The site is ADDICTING. *twitches*
Oh: I know that the Mike Saga is pretty much officially over, but I am getting slightly concerned. Mike hasn't been in to the gym for two weeks straight now...*bites nails* This is strangely reminiscent of a previous time when Mom tried to get a guy to take me out on a date. She suggested that he ask me out, there was a wild look in his eye, and I haven't seen the guy since. (Three months, now...?) Ah well, such is life. XD
Question time! I notice that I haven't done anything in the way of 'interaction' with the people who frequent my site--I know you must be out there...right? Right?
*crickets*
Eh...forget I asked. So anyway, question time:
What are you guys doing for Christmas?
I know that being with family and opening presents and stuff are pretty high on the list, but do you have any unique traditions that you celebrate? How about inviting random people off the street for Christmas dinner? Hiding the pickle ornament in the tree for an extra present? The weirder, the better! I'll be looking forward to answers! :D
Merry Christmas!
