But first, what I had for lunch today:
Anyway. On to the Chinese food!
The orange chicken was served over rice, and was adulated enthusiastically. (Is 'adulated' even a word? Oh well. It is now. XD) But since a success is never complete without a failure of some sort, I must show you the spring rolls. *cringe*
Big mistake. They sucked up all the grease and consequently were rather disgusting. We have come to the conclusion that NEXT time (fortunately there are about 50 wrappers left, so there are plenty for this hypothetical 'next time') we'll just boil them, put a little bit of oil in a wok or nonstick skillet, and cook 'em that way.
Unfortunately, these disasters were inedible. How inedible? Well, Javert wouldn't eat them. THAT'S how inedible they are. *shudder*
Okay, enough about food then. It snowed all day, but I was so busy cooking and taking pictures of food and planning food that I didn't get a single picture. Shame on me. *slaps wrist* There's about 8 inches of snow now...I'm ready for it to leave, to be honest...
Tomorrow begins the epic 'Babysitting Saga'. I don't know if I've talked about this before, so I'll recap. Some friends of ours are out of town until the end of this week, and I'm going to be staying with their kids for 4 days, from Monday to Thursday. So I'll be living at their house for that period of time...AND cleaning houses (two on Monday, two on Wednesday), AND going to school Tuesday and Thursday.
Busy? YES.
Insane? YES.
Zilch computer time? YES.
Soooo...I won't be online hardly at all (to my knowledge--I don't know what the Internet status is at this house. Last I heard their computer had crashed. *whimpers*). Drawing may or may not be zilch. Consider me MIA until Thursday.
Goodbye forever,
The Fox
