It is INSANELY comfortable--I wore it all day Thursday, Friday, and Sunday before finally succumbing to putting it in the wash. It's THAT comfy. Since there's been heat indexes in the upper 90s to 100s it's nice to not be wearing jeans.
For the people who may wonder why I don't wear shorts instead: I have very pale legs, due to always wearing jeans, and the contrast from my legs to my arms is so stark as to make me loathe the sight of shorts.
(And I just don't like wearing things that show off my not-very-show-off-worthy legs. XD)
Remember the kitten, Smudge? I think she's settling in nicely.
We actually may have a home for her--one of the people I clean for has said that they would be interested in taking her as a barn cat. So after she gets bigger and we have her spayed I think that she'll have a home. I'm kind of glad, because she has a habit of climbing on my bed, crawling to my face, and kneading my neck whilst purring loudly while I'm trying to sleep. It's more than a little annoying.
This morning I woke up with my blanket wrapped around my neck and lower face, presumably in an attempt to ward her off (I threw her to the foot of my bed several times last night, I do know that much).
Hopefully I'll get through this without strangling either myself or the cat.
Yes. Yes, I might.

The Fox
