I thought about posting pictures of the trip down, but 18 hours of looking at scenery and snapping the occasional uninteresting picture gets kinda boring...so consider the landscape photos struck from this particular post. XD
(I kind of like chickens, but after years of shoveling out the coop, gathering broken and/or crusty eggs, and plucking beheaded birds the charm has worn off. -_-)
It looks kind of cluttered from a distance, but once you get closer everything looks like it 'fits' just right. There's a sense of complexity--I was out here many many times during the past week and each time I sat down there was something new to see.
...I want it. XD
This is the living room...it felt very 'fresh' and 'springy', especially with the butter-cream color of the walls and the thatched fan blades. I spent a LOT of time in this room.
Hokay, so the guitar-wielding wonder is Emily (her website, by the by, is http://asisitherethinking.blogspot.com It's lots of fun, go check it out), and the tall one on the fiddle is Anna ( http://living-under-grace.blogspot.com/ and http://annagracephotography.blogspot.com ). The whole family is amazingly musical... *makes a note to upload a video*
And now, since this post is getting pretty darned long even by my standards, I'm going to cut it off here and resume the telling once I get a chance (tonight? Tomorrow? Who knows?)
Your hostess,
The Fox
