Woo, crazy weather!! Around 2:00-2:30 in the afternoon today we were hit by a BIG storm. I think there was actually a small tornado about 2 blocks north of the house because there is a lawn-care place that has a couple of sheds that they keep their lawn supplies etc in, and two guys who were taking shelter in one of the sheds had it picked up over them and tossed about a block away. When the thing landed it had been all mangled; and it went over a veterinary clinic. So it had to be pretty high. There were weedeaters and all sorts of equipment in the ditches. I took a bunch of pictures, but the camera died before I could get a picture of the building. But I did manage to get the ones I DID take onto the computor. And because I don't want to load each individual picture onto here, I'm just going to links to Photobucket on here. Once I have the silly pictures up, anyway...*snarls*
**EDIT**
Okay, storm pictures everyone!! The first few are the storm from a distance, before it hit us. The sky was actually green...

And now the actual storm! We took a video out the south window. Don't mind the weird commentary, we were feeling very hyper.

And hail! There was lots of hail. Unfortunately these were the best pictures we could get, but you get the idea.

And the power was out for about an hour, which was initially exciting but turned out to be a pain after a while, mostly because the camera was almost dead and we couldn't call anyone with the normal phone.
All in all, very exciting but I'm kinda glad it's over. There are limbs down everywhere, one of our trees snapped in half (it was a small tree, but still...), another tree broke off in the horse pasture, there's water EVERYWHERE...ugh.

That's ridiculous!! I would be too scared to take a video. I'd be hiding for cover! :(
