I crochet these scarves by hand, and this is the last one in my pre-made supply. Most scarves are not this...uh....pink. XD If you like the idea but not the colors I have a large supply of yarn to go towards making another. More are on the way and will be listed hopefully within a week.
I had a post several weeks ago on how to make this, and I still have the salve from that post on hand. So I decided to sell it. :D
I have a TON of these little suckers (8 of the shea, 7 each of the chocolate and lemon)...and I have ingredients to make more, yay. XD
I made these the other day, and just for kicks walked around wearing them to gauge people's reactions. Out of the 10-12 people who said it was cool (they came to me, I didn't have to ask) maybe 2 said they looked kinda silly. *shrug* I dunno. All I know is that I've got something around 10 pairs of old jeans that I'm making in a quilt (cutting out the blocks, anyway) and the leftover denim is going into making more gloves. I have an idea where I can pretty the basic design up with ribbon, scraps of leather, and buttons...but that's still in the experimental stages.
I HAVE been trying to sell my artwork, so I pulled some of the pictures that I liked best and posted them on Etsy. There's a TON of people who do the same on that website but...well, it's worth a shot, right?
Thanks for putting up with my shameless plugging, folks...between the play and photography jobs these next few days look to be busy ones. Oh yes, and trying to ride the horses every morning (had to miss this morning because I slept in, gosh-darnit) and experimenting with gloves and sewing quilt blocks together and *falls over*
