Violet used to wait at the gate too. Then Colletta corrupted her with her loner ways...bad Colletta!
So I finally succumbed to their questioning whickers and fed them. Colletta has taken to standing outside the barn while the other two eat their grain, because...oh, I'll just illustrate it with pictures.
Anyway. So in the first picture, the one with the wire along the ceiling: that is the wire above Colletta's head, when she eats her grain. Colletta has taken to throwing her head up when she sees me coming with hay (I'm not exactly sure why, because I've not chased her out or done anything really upsetting), and three times now she's hit that wire and given herself a nasty shock between the ears.
And if that wasn't bad enough, now she associates me being in the barn with her being shocked. So she now spends feeding time pacing outside in the mud.
Now, a change of pace!! :D
Ah. I feel better now. Thanks for viewing the bits of my life as they come. :D
