(I was wondering how fast it would take me to run inside and squeeze under the desk should a tornado be spotted. XD)
And then I ran inside and had pizza for supper and the storm passed and everything was well. The end.
Your hostess,

Okay, so this may not look THAT bad... ...but this was the sky above the gym about five minutes before closing time. The stills don't show the freaky rotation and the clouds moving VERY quickly overhead. I was watching the TV at the gym as they showed live footage of a funnel cloud about 20 miles north of where I live, and occasionally popping outside to check out the sky. It was weeeird, man. Tornadoes don't freak me out like they used to (anyone remember Twister? That movie scared me to DEATH when I was a kid)--to be honest, I wouldn't be completely against tagging along with some storm-chasers someday--but this was still giving me cause to twitch and wait impatiently for the last guy to leave the gym. XD (I was wondering how fast it would take me to run inside and squeeze under the desk should a tornado be spotted. XD) I'm sorry. My mind is the sort that thinks out these emergency situations. No desk-squeezing was required, fortunately, and I sped home just as the rain hit. And then, because I'm a photo-hound and can't turn up cloud/rain pictures, I went out in the pouring rain and snapped a few shots of the south.
And then I ran inside and had pizza for supper and the storm passed and everything was well. The end. Your hostess, The Fox
