Anyway...after the post about barefoot week for the 'I *heart* Faces' blog I decided to spend the entire day barefoot. Just 'cause I haven't done anything like that for a while, and it's the kind of slight abnormality that strikes my fancy. XD
And--because I'm weird that way--I shall chronicle where my bare feet went today. With pictures.
Yeah. I went there. XD
The end.
Okay, fine, no, not really...I got some other pictures too... XD
(Please ignore the black stuff on the bottoms of my feet. It's from the tacky asphalt roads.)
(The asphalt was really hot here, too. And my feet were flip-flopped from burning tar to freezing tile floors and they didn't have much feeling when I got back home. XD)
I once had a foot stepped on by a pony when I wasn't wearing any shoes. It was quite painful, and made an impression on me...that's probably what prevented me from going in there, really. And the thought that worms will implant themselves in the soles of my feet. O.o
(Yes. My parents told me that when I was younger, in an attempt to get me to stop walking in the horse pen in bare feet/flip flops. And by golly, it worked and it's stuck with me for LIFE.)
See, there's a Freudian reason for all of my irrational fears. See? XD
The day isn't finished yet, and I'm still barefoot. Yay. And apparently I'm to run Will over to the next town over so we can get a friend of his...oh, here he comes, clutching his chest from running the four blocks home from the gym. I'll go and poke him to make sure he's still alive.
Your hostess,
The Fox
P.S. Happy June 1st!!!
