Maybe it's just me, but are ALL teenage boys complete idiots? I heard something of that nature somewhere, but I guess I didn't think anyone could but quite THAT stupid. I worry sometimes... ^^;
Okay, enough about idiocy. XD I took some pictures today of a train as it was crossing in front of me (I was on my way home from cleaning a house out in the country, yay), but they haven't been uploaded onto the computor yet.
I finished my first square of entrelac (actually more like the third or fourth, because I had to do a swatch and a couple of practice runs to get it the right size) and lashed it to a square of a solid color...I have a plan to knit squares of alternating plain solids and entrelac multi-colored yarn, lash 'em together, and make a blanket. That would make me happy. :D The colors I'm using are a dark red, brown, dark green, and this varigated-autumn-color yarn that I LOVE (hence there are six skeins in my closet, heh heh). I have three squares made...pictures will be taken, and hopefully I can finish the thing before fall rolls around.
Tomorrow I have absolutely nothing planned, so I'm going to be spontaneous and--if the weather clears up--take the horses out, maybe work on some art...
Okay, so my spontanaiety needs some work. But I only have half a tank of gas and that's supposed to last me the rest of the week. XD
Anyway. Back to art: I have a watercolor painting of Colletta that's about 1/4 of the way finished, and then I have an idea to draw a coloring book for kids. The idea has been percoloating for a while--it'd be a book of horses, with various breeds, disciplines, and basic information that kids can absorb. I haven't actually drawn any of the pictures, but line-art is really rather easy (for me, anyway). It's just a matter of sitting down and DOING it.
(I've also had a random idea for illustrating and writing a guide on centaurs, just for the fun of it...but that's an idea that has lingered for a while and is sitting on the shelf patiently waiting for me to get around to it.)
Anyway...not much else going on. Will wants to watch some Phineas and Ferb, so I'm going to grab my knitting and watch it with him.
