Phew. I'm glad I got that figured out, because it would've kept me up all night otherwise.
You may be asking: what pictures DID I take yesterday then?
...hello? This thing on?? *tap tap*
*crickets*
Oh. Well then, I'll ask myself: What pictures did you take yesterday?
Fortunately, I didn't see anyone I knew. XD
Yup, so that was my amazing photographic expedition. Whee. We had to clean a house, then I worked at the gym (surprise, eh? XD) so there wasn't any time to get other pictures. Unless I wanted to get random pictures of people at the gym. And I don't think they would have appreciated that.
Although there was one moment yesterday when I wish I had had a camera at the gym...let's just say that it involved a surprised expression. I was emptying trash cans (enthralling, I know), and our big can has bags that are a little too small. The solution is simple enough: use some tape and tape it down around the edges as best you can so the bag doesn't end up crumpled in the bottom on the can.
So. Enough of that description. The tape I used was this really thick heavy stuff that the wrestlers use for taping together the wrestling mats--it's wider and heaver than duct tape (gasp! Sacrilege!), so you need to cut it with scissors. After I had pulled out a goodly amount of tape I realized that there weren't any scissors. 'No problem,' I thought, 'I'll just use my pocketknife.' (For the uninformed, I carry a small pocketknife for cutting open hay bale strings and stuff.)
I was standing next to the can, cutting the tape into more manageble sections, when this guy walks around the corner. Said guy is a really nice, quiet young man named Jon, but I digress. The reason why I wish I'd had a camera was the fact that his expression started out with 'oh, hi' and, upon seeing the knife in my hands, quickly slid into 'er...a knife? Wha?'
...if I wasn't so self-controlled (*cough* HA *cough*) I would have laughed unmercifully. To make a long story short--what, it's too late for that? Oh. Well, to make a long story longer, I just about died laughing when he left. I know--instead of a camera, I wish that I had a camera in my eyes so when I blinked, I could take pictures! Wouldn't that be awesome?
On second thought, that could be slightly awkward to take weird pictures of unsuspecting people. But I digress.
Leaving you with that thought for the day,
Da Fox
