Mostly, it's the fact that I woke up this morning feeling very weak and nauseated, and when I sat down at the dining room table I started sweating. A lot. I'm not sure what was up with the sweating...but after a few minutes it stopped but I was still weak and sick to my stomach. THEN, my brilliant brain kicked into gear and reminded me that I have hypoglycemia. OH, RIGHT, THAT WOULD EXPLAIN THE WEAKNESS. *headdesk* So, a long story short I ate the bowl of a watermelon, two pieces of toast, and a good-sized helping of oatmeal and felt much better. I've still got a bit of a headache, but I expect it to go away once I bolster my system with some solid food. I called Mom at the gym (she works mornings at the local gym), explained the situation, and she called a friend of ours who is a health-nut/herbalist. She suggested an 'elimination diet', where you don't stop eating but just eat things that are very mild and non-allergenic to one's system (brown rice, quinoa (pronounced 'keen-wah'), pears, etc) for about a week, and then start re-introducing food. Supposedly it'll take care of food allergies or at least isolate things that I am truly allergic to. This has become quite involved... Actually, I'm relieved that I don't have to do the juice because my stomach turns at the THOUGHT of drinking juice (it's not very tasty, esp after drinking it for a whole day). I think I'm going to stay away from it for a while...
In other news...I don't think I have any other news, actually. So I'm going to drink a glass of ice water and enjoy my juice-less day ahead. :D
